OPEN AUCTION NOTICE
Gwadar Port Authority, Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Government of Pakistan intends to dispose of
following Boat on “AS IS” & “WHERE AS” basis through open auction:

1. Craft/boat can be inspected at KPT Karachi. For inspection contact : Hafiz Abdul Wahab Ahmed Manager Store

2. The Firms/individuals should be registered with income Tax department as well as active tax payer of FBR.
3. The applying/interested firms/individuals will be required to submit a call deposit as bid security in the name
of Gwadar Port Authority on or before date of auction as mentioned in the above table, along with copy of CNIC, contact
details. The call deposit shall be refunded to unsuccessful bidder after completion of the auction process. The auction
will be held on the date/time and address mentioned in the above table. The bid will be valid for the period of 90 days
w.e.f date of auction.
4. The highest ranked bidder will be required to deposit 25% of the bid amount on the same day in shape of
demand draft, CDR in the name of Gwadar Port Authority, otherwise his bid shall be considered as cancelled and bid
security amount shall stand forfeited.
5. The successful/highest bidder will have to deposit remaining bid amount along will all the Government taxes
within 07 days of approval of bid, otherwise the deposited 25% and security amount shall be stand forfeited.
6. The successful bidder shall pay all applicable Government taxes as per prevailing rates.
7. The successful bidder will be required to take over the boat berthed at KPT Karachi immediately after award
of the contract and if it is not taken by successful bidder within 10 days, the penalty will be imposed according.
8. All type of security and safety measures shall be the responsibility of the successful bidder and GPA will not be
responsible for any loss or damage sustained or caused to Boat after auction.
9. Incase of bidding date is declared as public Holiday by the Government, the next working day shall be deemed
to be the date for bidding at the same time/place.

11. Gwadar Port Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids in the light of Public Procurement
Regulatory Authority (PPRA) Rules.
